We collect your name, email address, IELTS goals, practice test results, and subscription information when you create an account. If you are a tutor, we also collect your professional bio, qualifications, and experience details.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and personalise the IELTS practice platform
• To process your subscription payments via Stripe
• To send you account-related emails (welcome, subscription confirmations)
• To track your practice progress and band score improvements

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — database and authentication provider
• Stripe — payment processing (they do not store full card details on our servers)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google (Gemini) — AI-powered feedback generation (your responses are sent for scoring)

4. Data retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. Practice test attempts are stored for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

5. Your rights

• Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may update your profile information from your dashboard.
• Deletion: You may delete your account from your account settings. This permanently removes all your data.
• Portability: Contact us to request an export of your data.

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
